Day 20 – At Sea

Well I haven’t heard back from Papa Rattner in a while, so I’m unsure if these are making it up on the World Wide Web. So please accept my apologies, dear readers. I know you have all been sitting at your computers continuously hitting the “refresh” page on my blog.

Anyway, woke up early today for a SeaTV meeting. It was a 7:00 am breakfast meeting. Tomorrow we shoot our trailer, and we need to be at one teammate’s room at 7:00 am sharp. Boo on that. But I made it clear that I won’t be waking up early again for this class. Ever.

Anyhow, after the meeting I took a very-much needed nap. Then I went to freeing the human voice, where we tried to free ours jaws. That is insanely hard. Diane, our wonderful Professor and my extended family mother, tells me that I actually use my jaw to hold my head up. I should hold my neck up straighter, then I wouldn’t use my jaw. But I say I want to look like Brad Pitt in Ocean’s Eleven.

Next was lunch, which was AMAZING!! They had Curly Fries and bratwurst, which was absolutely magnificent. So, so, so happy with that.

After lunch, Nick, Jake, and I tried to plan what we’re going to do in Japan. We know where we are going, but we have yet to make concrete travel plans to occupy our days. And we need sleeping arrangements for a night in Tokyo and a night in Kyoto. Hostels are always a cost-efficient option, though it might be risky to leave our things there unprotected. Might prefer to get a hotel where we can safely leave luggage. But I am so very excited for Japan!! It’s only three days away!!!!

Next was painting, where we learned the science behind colors. The lecture was entirely redundant for me, because we covered color in physiological psychology class last semester. I’m sure my classmates were interested, though.

After class was dinner, then I did some good ol’ kicking it with friends and bloggin’. Tonight I got band practice for the Open Mic night (TOMORROW!!) and I’ve got to study for our first Global Studies exam. But I’ve gone to class and done the reading, which Don assures us is all we gots to do to succeed. OK friends, until tomorrow.
