Day 21 - At Sea

Short post today, because my day was uninteresting. I woke up early to shoot our SeaTV trailer. I borrowed a sweet flannel shirt from my friend Ori, and did not do the top buttons to show off my chest hair. I looked fantastic, if I do say so myself. The trailer will consist of us walking down the hallway, and gorging on pancakes (in true lumberjack fashion). The shooting went well, I think it will look great once it is all put together.

Next was class with the ol’ Bobster. We got our first quiz back; aced it! Too bad my grades don’t count.

After Bob’s class I checked my email, and weirdly still haven’t heard from the parentals in a few days. So apologies for the delayed blog posts, they go up through them. The lack of emails is a bit disconcerting, though, I hope everything is all right.

Then I did some studying for Global Studies, and I am limiting myself to an hour of studying. Some people on the ship are freaking out about the test, but I think it won’t be too bad.

Next was the solid block of classes: Digital Storytelling, Drawing, and Gamelan. Each was fine, though I am really struggling with our new Gamelan piece. It consists of chanting, and my group chants off-beat. It is damn near impossible for me to get it into our head.

After Gamelan, Tolan and I practiced a bit for tonight’s performance. We have somehow developed quite the following: I have been asked at least 20 times today whether or not Tolan and I will be performing at the Open Mic. So wish me luck, dear readers.
